We are looking for brilliant, creative, curious, and experienced Frontend Engineers to support our Trading team and infrastructure. At Blis, Frontend Engineers are more than just web developers, we value people who care about how things work and have a passion to make things better. They are creative problem solvers and solution builders. They typically write code in Javascript, using AngularJS, but have a knowledge of the language and ecosystem's foundations that allows them to move between different frameworks or adopt new ones. Their understanding of our business and users helps us to innovate, deliver a truly useful experience, and ensure we continue to delight and astound. They participate in product and implementation strategy and they don't just follow specifications. They have a talent for simplifying complexity, a strong analytical mind, and a proactive personality. Across the team, everyone supports each other through mentoring, brainstorming and pairing up. They do this while also optimising themselves and the team for long-lasting agility which is often synonymous with practicing Good Engineering. They are almost always adherents of Lean Development and work well in environments with significant amounts of freedom and ambitious goals.
