Propel are partnered with a historic global publishing business on their search for a Pricing Manager to join their London team. They are both a traditional and digital publisher with a variety of consumer product offerings and a strong reputation in the industry.
The Pricing Manager is a brand new role in the business and as such is a very key hire from them. The Pricing Manager will work across all consumer products; defining pricing strategy, ensure that price and product are aligned and to streamline existing pricing efforts. Taking a test-and-learn approach, the Pricing Manager will conduct/draw on existing research and data to inform strategy, work across various internal teams and manage senior stakeholders- offering strong business cases for functional improvements to the existing pricing model.
Skills and experience of the Pricing Manager:
Previous experience in a similar pricing role (publishing/subscriptions preferred)
Be highly numerical, analytical and data driven
Be strategic and able to look to the future when making important decisions
Constantly thinking of ways to improve and optimise to increase revenue
Have the ability to prioritise/handle your own workload
