Our client design experiences and use problem-solving and visual communication to answer the needs of our two main stakeholders: the families that use the app to discover new activities for their children, and the organisers that turn to the app to grow their business.

The design team (product design) are responsible for brand expression and its coherence across all mediums. Our work covers the app, organiser platform, our website, email, social media, as well as printed materials and merchandise.

The design team has a busy schedule. Releasing features on a weekly basis, and constantly analyse and test our work. We're always looking to improve on our design solutions through an ongoing iterative process. We also support internal teams with great design to help contribute towards their goals.

We aim to have fun in what we do, as well as create an environment that facilitates ongoing learning.

About the role
Reporting to the Lead Designer, you will contribute to the growth and development of the consumer experience, as well as support the marketing team's requirements for promotional materials.

We are looking for a designer who can express themselves openly, who is genuinely curious and aspires to grow. The ideal candidate will not only think about the 'what' but also about the 'why', working on smart design solutions that support our product goals.

This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn and develop their design experience in a broad-ranging role within a well-funded and ambitious startup, ran by design-led founders.

REQUIREMENTS We're looking for...
Outstanding visual communication skills and a flair for interaction design;
An online portfolio that showcases your work and explains your methodology;
Someone who can explain their rationale for design decisions;
Good written communication and an ability to document your process;
Knowledge of your tools, from a simple notebook to Sketch;

And great if you have...
Some commercial experience
An understanding of agile methodologies;
Experience coding;
Side projects that expose your hidden talents;
An appreciation of design systems;
