Propel is pleased to be searching for a Head of Media to join an incredible marketing tech agency.

The Agency

This agency is poised at the cutting edge of technology, and creates innovative marketing solutions to some of the largest and most well-known clients. The agency itself is small to medium sized, yet the clients are household names, which creates opportunity for creating real change within organisations that you may otherwise never come close to!
Their gorgeous offices are based in Central London, and the company have doubled in number every year due to their impressive growth and success. They are named as one of the Top Start ups in the UK.

The Role

The Head of Media is twofold. Firstly, you will be managing a team of 16 committed Media Account Managers spread across 20 clients. This will focus on team building, people management, leadership and motivation. Secondly, the role is about spotting new opportunities and developing strategy within Paid Media across the clients.

Responsibilities:

-Team leadership: offering support, training, development in order to improve retention and happiness.
-Innovation and Strategy: offering Class A consultation for clients within Paid Media with a focus on paid social and display ads.
-New business opportunities: assisting with new business pitches, identifying new opportunities.
-New strategic opportunities: Grow the agency's offering of paid channels, particularly interesting would be programmatic.
-Delivery of existing market-leading work: relationship management with clients, third parties and agencies, consulting on key projects.

The Perfect Person

-7 years of paid media experience - preferably within agency
-Inspirational team leader
-Able to develop and manage individuals
-Extensive paid social experience: particularly within Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat/Google/Twitter/Pinterest ads.
-Experience with programmatic a huge plus
-Experience with planning, buying display ads, search ads, digital radio ads, and VOD
-Confident in pitching to senior clients
-Ability to automate and create efficient methods of working
