JOB DESCRIPTION - Head of eCommerce

ROLE:Head of eCommerce

The company is a well-established music brand that operates successfully both in-store and online. After a history of being mostly in-store, they are updating their ecommerce strategy and moving towards a more online approach. As such the business is now looking for a Head of eCommerce to join, manage the team, lead and deliver on all eCommerce strategy, and be very commercially focussed.

Deliver a best in class online shopping experience that excites customers and ensures maximums sales opportunities. You must live and breathe sales.

Key Responsibilities

Research, create and deliver the eCommerce strategy
Deliver and exceed eCommerce targets and KPIs
Increase sales with eCommerce strategy.
Work closely across all teams
Assess, analyse and develop digital performance and identify areas of improvement.
Manage a team of 4, which includes Content Managers, Web Admins, PPC Managers.
Ensure the smooth operation of all eCommerce platforms and tools. If you want to switch tools, you can.
Maximise all commercial opportunities with regards to eCommerce strategy.
Manage third party partnerships.
Ensure profitable customer journeys through techniques like traffic analysis, site search, selling price monitoring, personalisation, navigation, landing pages, product selection, mobile indexing.
Ensure all content is engaging and performing well.
Maintain a high degree of personal knowledge and awareness of the latest thoughts, ideas and activity of Internet retailing

Key Skills & Experience

Must have 5+ years in retail and eCommerce space
Magento experience
Must have other eCommerce tools experience and be able to comment on preferred tools.

Highly commercial
Very driven, and continually looking for new areas of improvement.
Technically astute
Cost conscious
An effective team worker who shows initiative and takes ownership of the role
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
