Propel have been retained to find a Head of Digital for a niche leader in the travel vertical. The business which have a global reach are currently undergoing a period of growth and transformation! They are part way through an exciting period of growth and transformation. The foundations are being laid to take the business to the next level and it is truly a fantastic time to join. Having invested heavily into digital they now seek someone with demonstrable experience in performance marketing (across multiple markets) to lead and grow their digital team.
This is an integral hire for the business, as the Head of Digital will contribute to the continuing rapid growth of the company. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Head of Digital will lead and develop their team of Digital Marketing Specialists to ensure the businesses position of number one within their sector. The Head of Digital will have the opportunity to take full ownership of all paid acquisition channels including paid search, display, programmatic, paid social and remarketing. Leading a team currently of 3 with the intention to grow and scale. You will be managinbg budgets in the region of £5m which will increase to £15m.
This is an ideal role for someone who is digitally focused and hands-on with experience leading a team and who has extensive knowledge of multiple marketing channels. Theyare looking for someone who is confident to deliver day to day targets and meet long term goals by developing marketing channels. You will be passionate about producing the best in class performance marketing function within the business and be the key thought leader within the business on everything related to performance marketing.
- A performance marketing expert with 7+ years in performance marketing
- Considerable experience managing complex PPC & Display campaigns with significant budgets
- Experience managing accounts and advertising campaigns across multiple languages
- Experience in people management with a proven ability to direct and develop others
- The ideal candidate will have gained most of their experience client side
