Propel is excited to be working with a fun food and health start up, whose products are sweeping the shelves! The company is growing very quickly, and has a considerable amount of funding investors.
The company is now looking for an Editor in Chief to deliver best in class content creation to further brand image whilst prompting conversation, acquisition and retention.
In other words: create amazing content to grab customer's attention and keep them coming back!
Day to Day Responsibilities:
-Create content strategies and content calendars.
-Delivering end to end campaigns - you must be strategic, but also be prepared to be executional at times. This is a start up feel company. These campaigns will be predominantly organically driven copy: social media, CRM, PR etc
-Development and optimisation of content strategy.
-Stay on top of all trade and consumer PR, respond to daily trends and news.
-Optimise the CRM journey end to end.
-Create CRM campaigns and newsletters.
-Create an always on approach with social media and digital.
-Have overall editorial management of all 3rd party content production.
-Create relationships with influencers and industry experts.
-Create a tone of voice document.
-Update and monitor the website.
-Copywriting for banners, social posts and newsletters.
-Report back to the Founder and Marketing Director.
-Manage all 3rd party content providers, and engage with and manage agencies.
-Get to know customers through interaction and research.
The Perfect Candidate:
-Will have 6+ years in a similar content driven role: ideally from a brand, media agency or publisher.
-Will have a journalistic background.
-Will have excellent copywriting and content strategy skills.
-Will be ambitious and self motivated. You need to be able to hit the ground running with this role.
-An interest in health or food is a must.
-Have used Buffer, Instagram, Social Bakers, Hootsuite etc.
