My client are the exciting pure-play eCommerce arm of a larger, global business going through a period of exciting growth. They are aiming to disrupt the UK market through innovation and a proposition that is focused around the needs of UK customers.

My client are looking for individuals who are comfortable within a flat hierarchy, a fast-paced work environment, data-driven decision-making and are able to seek out new opportunities.They are looking for people who view this as a journey to change the industrial supplies market all while shaping the culture and direction of the nascent digital team.
Role & Responsibilities
As the Digital Communications Manager, you would be at the forefront of my clients Customer Retention Programme and in control their Email Marketing Strategy, On-Site Content and Social Media profile. Working closely with colleagues from the marketing, analytics, customer service, dev and UX teams, you will set the calendar, agenda and strategy of those channels, being responsible for managing costs and ROI.
They are looking for an individual with 3-5 years experience in a similar role. Their email programme has come a long way, but there are still many improvements to be made. Being a new brand, less than a year old, their Social Media profiles still have to attract new followers.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual who is looking to develop their own strategy and further their career within Content and CRM.
●Refine and deliver the email marketing strategy.
●Growing, analysing and segmenting of the customer housefile.
●Diarising and planning the ongoing marketing calendar.
●Responsibility for email marketing KPIs, setting and delivering on overall goals.
Content & Social Media
●Build & manage the company's Social Media profiles, primarily Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
●Collaborate with prominent members of the company to identify opportunities and create appropriate, shareable and newsworthy articles.
●Monitor and engage with users on all Social Media platforms.
●Monitor competitors' Social and PR activity.
Other digital marketing related
●Provide assistance in the management of SEO (Content, Copy and managing agency)
●Other tasks as they arise
Skills and Experience
●A good understanding of email marketing, preferably 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
●Excellent command of the English language, preferably with some experience in writing content for Search Engine Optimisation.
●Basic experience of HTML (specifically around email marketing).
●Sound knowledge of "organic" Social Media marketing.
●Able to use web analytics software, specifically Google Analytics.
●SQL knowledge an advantage.
●Commercial acumen, must be able to measure, report and optimise on campaign parameters.
●A passion for content; ideally previous experience in blogging and creating SEO friendly articles.
●Experience in a retail, B2B or tools and maintenance supplies role an advantage.
