Propel is very excited to be working with a premium sports and fitness brand which is launching in the UK following incredible success in the USA. This brand mixes state of the art technology, with sleek design and a strong community.

The Role:

The client is searching for a CRM Manager to join the London team and establish all things email. This will include acquisition, retention and engagement marketing, with the aim to convert to sales. This person must be both strategic and executional - you will be required to get your hands dirty! This is a brand new role within an exciting company that is being set up for the first time in the UK, so will require setting everything up from scratch.


-Full ownership of all things email and CRM, end-to-end. This will include planning and implementation of acquisition and retention email strategies.
-Owning and creating the UK email calendar.
-Creating email templates, coding and creation of backend, and designing automation and trigger emails.
-Design and implement consumer segmentations.
-Optimisation of entire process, including landing pages.
-Nurturing of leads.
-Implementing test and learn process - A/B testing, multivariate testing, end-to-end QA testing etc.
-Reporting and analysis of all campaigns - click through rates, conversion rates, open rates etc.
-Managing stakeholders and external agencies.
-Liaise directly with the team in the USA.

The Perfect Candidate:

-Will be an expert in Salesforce (NOT mailchimp)
-Will ideally have used Eloqua or Oracle
-Will have worked in ecommerce.
-Have 4+ years of email marketing experience.
-Have managed end to end email and CRM campaigns.
-Have a strong understanding of HTML, mobile optimisation and email best practise.
-Have strong working knowledge of testing - test and learn, A/B testing, QA testing, multivariate testing.
-Will be both strategic and hands on. This is a big role that requires setting everything up from scratch, so will require someone who can get their hands dirty. The role will become more strategic as the team grows.
-Will use customer insights to drive their actions.
-Will be easy going, no ego person who thrives in a fast paced innovative start up environment.
