Consumer PR Manager Permanent

The Role: Propel is excited to be working with a household name in food - you will have heard of them - to find an experienced and senior PR Manager to join the team. This role will focus on consumer PR, and will help grow the business in its next stage of growth.
-Create, deliver and optimise the PR strategy to optimise commercial opportunities.
-Create best in class consumer PR campaigns, keeping the company in consumers' minds and bellies!
-Create a local and global PR plan that stretches across a wide variety of channels including but not limited to articles, blogs, video, social media, etc.
-Ensure the company is constantly reaching new audiences.
-Build relationships with bloggers, vloggers and social media influencers.
-Build relationships with key consumer media.
-Generate conversations across the media and social platforms, and drive the brand awareness.
-Report on and optimise PR campaigns. Deliver a test and learn culture where you are continually optimising and adapting.
-Build excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, and facilitate them to speak with media/influencers.
-Crisis communications management where and when needed.
-Management of agencies.
You Must Have:
-At least 5 years experience of a hands on and strategic PR. You must be an expert in PR and developing PR and media relations.
-You must have experience in big brand name, or worked in an agency on recognisable brand accounts. Further, these must be food, FMCG or retail companies.
-You must be able to work in a small team and be hands on, and also manage agencies.
-You must be a self-starter, hands on, passionate about the brand and about food, and have an adaptive, test and learn work ethic.
