A passionate Account Director is required for a specialist, award-winning digital agency famed for designing, building, maintaining, and optimising e-commerce websites.
Reporting to the CEO, the Account Director will manage a varied portfolio of clients. This individual will be responsible for building an account management team and overseeing this new department, ensuring all clients are managed efficiently and expectations are consistently exceeded.
*Grow the account management department to a team of 3 in the next 18 months.
*Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
*Closing new business from new and existing clients.
*Cross-selling services across departments to clients.
*Quoting clients for strategies built by department heads.
*Learning, or developing a deeper understanding of all departments (SEO, CRO, PPC, Development and Social Media).
*Attending client meetings and communicating feedback issues to the department heads and the CEO.
*Updating client strategies to reflect any necessary changes (budget, timeline and extra requirements) and communicating said changes.
*Advising clients on their marketing strategies.
*Delivering results and our departmental reporting.

*Excellent communication skills. An ability to both speak and write in a clear and concise manner
*Outstanding relationship building skills, ensuring strong relationships are built and maintained
*Experience in a client-facing Account Manager role
*A general understanding of SEO, PPC and Social Media - with specific knowledge of the practices and strategies of these departments
*Ability to deliver monthly client reporting
*Good understanding of project management (previous experience is preferred but not essential)
*Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan and organise in an efficient manner and focus on key priorities.
