I work as a consultant in the Media team at Propel, with a special focus on online advertising and technology, supplying a large portfolio of digital agencies, tech providers and networks with permanent staff. Propel is at the centre of a lively and fast paced industry and the company embraces this.
I chose Propel over other recruitment companies I interviewed at because they are a leading supplier in the digital space, everyone seemed really friendly and I could see myself working here. If you are a grad wanting to come and work in recruitment, you won’t regret choosing Propel. The music in the office combined with the free breakfasts are always good and the people are dedicated, intelligent and a lot of fun to be around. The incentives are great as well – I have been wine tasting at Vinopolis and Go Karting as well as being taken out to HIX Soho for a three course dinner.
I joined as a grad and am now a fully fledged consultant – Propel pays attention to your strengths and weaknesses and wants you to succeed, which really helps. Its growing massively in 2014 and the introduction of Bullhorn as a CRM system will help everything run smoothly - Propel pay for the best systems to help the consultants do their jobs better.
In an industry like digital, I am constantly learning about innovative, exciting and slightly freaky ways that advertisers are reaching and engaging with their audience and because of the changes in the industry, no two days are the same in the job.
