Melina’s career has spanned 23 years of experience in London’s exciting digital industry. Starting in the vibrant advertising space for companies such as Red, Green & Blue Company, The Multimedia Corporation and Dorling Kindersley, Melina joined MAK&C and went on to be the first one to launch and grow their new media division in the UK. Within 18 months she had joined the board of directors and built the largest digital recruitment team in the UK.
As one of the first evangelists in the digital recruitment space, she founded Propel London (with Emma McNamara) in 2001 – the UK’s largest independent digital recruitment business. By bringing in her invaluable expertise in the digital talent business, as a CEO and co-founder of Propel, she helped more than hundreds of businesses grow through the acquisition of skilled digital professionals.
In 2008 Melina was named in the Hospital Club’s “Top 100 Influential People in Digital”, in 2011 she won the inaugural MARA Award for “Best Recruitment Boss” and in 2012 she led Propel to victory in the “Best Large Agency” category.
