London based digital agency are looking for a permanent lead user experience practitioner to lead one of the largest and most impactful website design projects taking place in the UK this year!
Our client‰Ûªs workload is increasing exponentially, as is the need for input from the user experience team. As a result they are looking to open their doors to another lead/senior practitioner to work along-side the Head of User Experience to lead strategy and ensure usability standards are upheld, and to mentor and develop less experience practitioners in the team.
Data is at the heart of our client‰Ûªs thinking, be it qualitative or quantitative, and combined with a touch of creativity, it forms the fuel for all strategic and design decisions they make. Unlike other roles out there, this position offers the chance to understand, in detail, the impact that true user-centred design has on client‰Ûªs bottom-lines ‰Û" everything is measured.
In terms of required skills and experience, we‰Ûªve been asked to put forward candidates who meet the following criteria:
- agency or client-side background
- at least four years of commercial experience practising traditional user-centred interactive design
- strong formative research experience
- expert information architecture, interaction design and prototyping skills (InDesign is preferred but not essential)
- excellent communication, presentation skills
- senior stakeholder management experience
- an ability to articulate complex problems in a simple way
- experience of successfully leading projects for well know brand and global clients
- possess an outstanding portfolio
