This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an well known, innovative leader in online classifieds who have eight sites that span the globe. You will be working on with a brand that is known globally and alongside some of the most talented product, marketing and technical people in the business.
As Lead Designer you will be responsible for a variety of exciting projects that will push their website to the next level in terms of product offering and user experience. You will be expected to be highly creative with a skill for digital graphic design, alongside a in depth knowledge of usability and how users interact with content. This is a holistic position where you will be working on everything from transactional journeys to banner advertising.
Its essential that you're passionate about user experience and an strong advocate of using user testing to determine design. The successful candidate will have to work closely with product, marketing and sales teams in order to understanding how to translate user demands into easy to use and distinctive site experiences. You will also be expected to have a strong appreciation of front end technology and the ability to work closely with development teams, as it's essential you design whilst always considering the development process as well. Applicants will also be expected to have a thorough understanding of the possibilities and limitations that come with designing for the web and online campaigns, clear and concise communication skills, end to end project lifecycle experience and a proven track record of project delivery (preferably with knowledge of Agile)
