This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding digital publishers who are already running several successful websites. They are looking for a highly creative designer with bags of great ideas along with the maturity and confidence to manage their own workload whilst also being a prominent voice in regards to new ideas and ventures.
Your skills should include:
- A fascination with the web and a love of learning new online skills
- A portfolio that shows an eye for UI design, iconography and typography
- 2 Years experience in web design
- Minimum 2 years experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
- Ability to translate design mock-ups into standards-driven, semantic HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of jQuery or similar JavaScript libraries would be highly advantageous.
- Some awareness of CMS systems and E-Commerce (specifically travel)
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to work at a fast pace to tight deadlines
