According to this article on the NMA website this morning, TBG Digital have found their way into the first trials of Twitter's new ad products.
By working with high-profile agencies and brands (see namechecks for Starbucks and Disney in the NMA article) Twitter is making a smart move - adding legitimacy and clout to an advertising proposition which some have been unsure of.
The age-old argument remains - should social platforms carry advertising, and if so, how obvious should the distinction be between ads and user-generated content?
By enticing high-profile names to get involved early, Twitter will be going a long way to assuage any doubts in marketer's minds.
Have they announced when lesser mortals, sorry, more modestly sized agencies will be allowed to sign up?
Have budget/will advertise!
